Under Mikayla, the RYHA underwent some great changes, and several fantastic new programs were introduced. As the new director, I plan on keeping up the programs and other exciting stuff Mikayla put in place. Hopefully you are excited about the Youngst*rs and Futurity Program, but you may also be a little confused. So, here's a quick reference chart that compares the two.

FUTURITY

Horses automatically nominated after
winning a Grand or Reserve Champion
title at a monthly show. Horses nominated shortly after birth by
their owner.

Awarded points at monthly shows for
Grand Champion, Reserve Champion,
and 1st - 3rd placings. Awarded points at monthly shows for
Grand or Reserve Champion.

Accrue points through the season
towards year-end distinctions and
rewards. Accrue points until the end of 3 y/o
season towards Hall of Fame
membership & $10,000 prize.
