Program.

3. Unaged foals must be nominated for the Futurity Program within one month
of their birth. Aged foals must be nominated within one month of their
introduction to Riata. New owners have one month from the date of their
registration to nominate their Futurity Program participants.
4. Owners must pay a one-time nomination fee of $1,000 for each horse nominated
for the Futurity Program.
5. Point accumulation for the Futurity Program is entirely separate from
that of the Youngst*rs. All Futurity Program participants accrue points as

are awarded for monthly shows as follows: Divisional Champions receive 50
pts, and Reserve Champions receive 25 pts.

the two Futurity Program participants with the highest, cumulative point
totals are entered into the RYHA Hall of Fame and are awarded $10,000
each.
7. Horses born in the Southern Hemisphere should be nominated based upon
their age group, rather than their actual breeding season. For example, foals
born in October 2006 should be nominated with the weanling age group. Please
be sure to make this indication on your application for nomination.
